Auto Fusion (Thouqeer Khan) on 80 feet Rd, Koramangala, he is known to most Bangalore BHPians.

BTW, he does delivery. He installed films on both my cars at my office parking garage.

Both conditions happen when its raining or its a cold night. So IMO, Llumar is not a culprit in this issue... I have NO films installed in my car and the same thing happens.

Correct me if I am wrong.
you are absolutely right dude, people need to get facts before concluding.

What are other cheaper options for the front screen? 1.5 - 2k

Im interested in getting a transparent film for my windscreen, for the remaining (4+rear) I allready have a light black tint, I think it was a cheap variant of lumar. Car is black and its beginning to KILL!!!!

Try garware they are cheaper ...

And having the Front w/w sunfilm has some problems

1. If u stay in a cold area or a rainy area then the Defroster/demistfier doesn't do a good job. ( mist sticks around )

2. Dashboard and bright colored objects are reflected during day time..

3. ppl think you are upto something shady even if u are sitting with u dog next to u lol

Garware is a strict no-no according to many on the forum.

Also, Im talking about a TRANSPARENT film, so why would people bother? Plus who gets shady in a santro? Its too small

I got V-Kool sunfilm (both front and remaining glasses) for my City ZX. Used the high-end VK-70 film for the front (73% visibility, 94% heat blockage) and faced no trouble with night driving in city/highway.
Daytime cabin heating is effctively overcome - I am comfortable now in a/c setting 1 (March afternoon drives). For side and rear I got V-Kool A-60 film which is adequate.
Deal set me back by 14K (authorised franchisee at Hyderadad, 5yrs warranty).

Can someone who has installed a garware flim on his front windshield throw some light please.

Having a front wind shield film reduces your Blood pressure at night. Confused? Well, it certainly reduces glare at night time. And with so many morons driving on high beam, this comes as a real boon. At least for me! I still get irritated, but the level has dropped down.

I have V-KOOL on front screen and Garware on windows/rear screen. My experience tells me that Garware doesnt really cut off much of heat.

I have got RE50 (sides)/RE70 (rear) birla 3M sun control film fitted to my car.

RE50/RE70 has been approved by RTO.

Is there any RTO approved film for front glass? if yes what the visiblity % and UV filtering %?
