Need advice on minor dent removal of my I10

Hi All,

I got the first dent on my 9 month old I10 when a stupid Maruti800 guy tried to sneak into the gap between my car and foot path. Dent is near the left side back door and thankfully the paint has not peeled off.

I really hate to see dents on my car. So I need your advice on how I can get this dent removed and how much does it cost. What are the best places in Bangalore(preferably near Indiranagar) to get the dent removed. Also should I claim insurance?

Snaps of the dent are here:

I am new to car handling, so I am not planning to remove the dent myself unless it's very trivial with off the shelf tools.

Regards,

Its quite difficult to remove those kinds of dents on wheel arch,But there is a way by using electromagnetic body panel puller which are available at quite few places in bangalore. One is available with Nandi toyota on Hosur road and the other with Popular automatch at Yeshwanthpur(Next Govt soap factory).Should cost you around Rs 1200/-,Belive me this guy does a neat job.

First thing I saw the picture, and I was like "huh, what dent"? Indian metros do far more damage to a car, though I can't figure out how you manage 9 months without any. Don't bother....more will come.

- use a screw driver (-ve side) to pull out the plastic guard (if any) inside the wheel well.
- press / tap the dented part from inside and hopefully it will come back in shape.

it is better to ignore such dents.

If the place is accessible from behind, visit someone specialising in dry denting. Otherwise dont know if it can be pulled out. Bangalore must also be having some specialised dry denters like Delhi.
