My Indigo turns 6 this April.Of late, I have noticed that the ride is getting too bumpy. I read some where that the first lot of Indigos (mine belongs to them, unfortunately) have some older suspension which they revised in later models.
Hence, I am looking for some advice as to what can be done to the suspension system to make the ride comfortable ? Do I have to change the entire suspension system or is there some upgrades available ? What would be the best way out and an approx cost ?

i got the shockers replaced of my indigo recently (the rear only). cost was around 2.5k for each.
the ride has improved a LOT.... though i am not fully sure that it would completely solve your problem.

Get the entire set of shockers and suspension same.
If i am not wrong both the old suspension and the one in the new one is the same.

If it is , you will not have a problem in getting the one in the new batches.
However if it is different, get the parts checked at a Tata A*SS. You should be able to get the whole suspension changed.

How much has the Indigo run? Petrol / Diesel? If you get the suspension changed, the car will feel like new.Indicative costs are front suspension 4400, rear suspension 3100, labour (front) 500, labour (rear) 400. TASC rates from July 2008 for the Indica petrol.
