Good job on getting the right material. I wouldn't worry about the abrupt changes in cross-section because there is no significant side-loading going on there.

Also, I forgot to mention earlier, Grade 12.9 allen bolts only for the 4 adjusters and a minimum of 45 lb-ft of torque, and you should be good to go.

I wish you'd also incorporated a caster adjuster when the plates were designed.

Monday work starts on camber plate.
Wouldn't it have been better if you had used a small notch to stop the spring from turning like the stock top plates.

The notch is there on OHC strut & that is for OHC Springs, both on top spring end & bottom assembly, but in DMS original config there is no notches either on top & Bottom where springs sits, more over springs of DMS & OHC are totally different hence decided to stick to DMS design.
They have collar both on top & bottom so that spring doesn't moves from its location, hence implimented the same design on Top.

@ananth these are not brand new shocks it came with springs as it is, we have very limited or no choice on springs when it comes to OHC. though i will test this setup first & then take a call regarding that.

I just noticed that you have made the threads directly in the aluminium pieces. I would recommend that you use helicoil inserts in them as the threads are going to wear out pretty quickly in aluminium. Don't worry there will not be any extra machining involved. These inserts will protect the threads and prevent them from wearing out.

Finally its ready... i am really happy the way its come out, but i still feel there is scope of improvement in the design, nevertheless

The Combination, Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 + DMS 50 MM Gold with custom made Camber Plates.
