hey buddy i would advise you take the teflon coat from the company...because the difference would be any where beetween 500-800 bucks from the local market price...plus when you get it from the company its more reliable..cheers...!!

u can but you'd need something like this
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Qj5hbxn...0&I=142HA1572B
or
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Qj5hbxn...00&I=120997860
or
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Qj5hbxn...g=112200&avf=Y

we have 2 CVTs in our family. the 1st one came with a alpine cassette unit mounted in such a kit the second one came with a 2 din kenwood system.

Window locks are the locks on the window which prevent any one from steeling your mirrors.
take a look at this link..

@ Navin.. Surely the system in the CVT in your family are aftermarket ones as HOnda supplies Alpine Cassette player with FM which is CD compatible..

Frankly, i don't see the need for 15" wheels. The NHC isn't the kind of car you would preffer throwing around. You should try and make your ride as comfortable as possible. 195/60 R14 is the best option. It'll give you massive lateral grip with an increase in ride quality.

Hi guys.Thanks for the replies..
Well,Montoya, the Window Locks aren't displayed on the weblink you've provided..there is Automatic Gear Shift Lock on that page..no Window Locks..
Shan2nu ,or anyone else.. you know any good GoodYear or other good Tyre dealer in Mumbai for the 195/60/14 tyres ??
I think I'll go with the Company Teflon Coating and under car sealant coating, since it's certainly more reliable to get it done from the co. itself.

Well, NC had given me a number of this person called Jeetu (26490573) of Saifee Tyres. The GIIIs (195/60 R14) were costing around 3200 as of Feb 05'.

3.2 is a good price, considering that they cost 3.5 in Karnatake.

I think he also deals in various other brands including Goodyear.

One question - I want to know what is the Original Front and Rear Standard accessory Speaker sizes(inches diameter) ,which are equipped in NHC GXi CVT Model.
I wanted to look up Kicker/Sound Stream Speakers..but need to know the size of the front/rear speaker compartments,so that I can check/compare exactly the size which will fit in the NHC.

Thanks,
Suraj

Hello.I'm expecting my NHC CVT soon(within 2-3 days)..well,could you please tell whether upgrading to Bridgestone Potenza GIII 195/60/R14 tires from stock 175/65/R14 will it make steering more hard during turning ??..how much harder would it become after upgrade..like say if stock softness of steering is rated 9/10,how much would it reduce to after tire upgrade..?..I've already asked this same thing to a few people PMing them..but then thought I just might as well put it up on thread..
Also, how much mileage will I get with upgraded above tires..say if original stock tire mileage is 10kmpl in City, how much will I get after tire+alloy upgrade?
I would also like to ask - there is barely any extra height space for the trunk tire,so,if I keep 4 wider tires with alloys, and the trunk tire is stock 175/65/R14 bridgestone, will it work for like a maximum of 50-100km,till I get the 195/60R14 repaired at tire shop?

Thanks,
Suraj

Also,FE is of concern to us,since anyways,we'll be getting a low FE of around 10/litre in Mumbai..so,please tell me whether to go in only for Alloys or alloys(hard chrome) + rims?
My sister will be driving the car most of the time, and she's slow, won't be throwing the car or going down on the gas pedal much..so,please advise on the upgrades.
Car is NHC Black CVT.
Thanks,
Suraj

The dealer will show you. They are cheap cost arounf 500Rs and are very useful. They prevent theft of the mirror.

Well there is one dealer in Vashi named Best tyre. He was giving the Eagle F1s for 2800Rs and the GIIIs for 3100Rs.

As far as alloys go then go for Chrome ones. They will look very good with black. Also put Side Step Garnish. They prevent scratches near the doors.

Hey buddy,

Mirror locks cost like Rs150/- odd. As far as tyres go use the same size all around . I would personally recommend Pirelli P5000 or P6000. Make sure you check the manufacturing date on the tyres as you would not want to be saddled with old stock. By upsizing to 195/60/14 your steering would become approx 5% harder which in power steering car is as good as nothing. Some people increase air pressure to compensate that but at the cost of ride quality. Also go for dull chrome for the more sober look instead of shining (in any case they will keep getting dirty and the look is then dull).

As far as audio goes give me a call or buzz me I'll show you my setup. In any case I can always give you free advice and you can get the stuff from whomever you are comfortable.

Hope I have been of help.
