We must acknowledge the fact that a lot of work has gone between those wheels to get it to this shape. Perhaps structural integrity and stability may not be so compromised since most of the subframe is retained as in the original and can see some reinforcements from the pics with heavy work in the arches and pillars.

The engine being heavier would have had stiffer coils in the front and visually the car seems at level and not showing a drooping front.

The bonnet, front glass, rear hatch and all the panes have been borrowed from another car and the scoop cut out in the bonnet. The only place that it is visible that it is a Conti.. is from the engine fire wall and the wheels. And obviously it is a Diesel engine. It will be good to see more pics from this build.
Cheers

Mike

Would like to say it must have taken a lot of pain to reach this stage.Wheels look good the car would look much better if the front would be some thing inovative the swift front does not serve justice to the look of the car. A request to (civ4647) just follow this pls dont loose it. Hope the person who is building the car would do a good paint job or else this car would end up in the weird and wack thread.

Must say that this is a highly commendable job.

One of very few properly sorted our modifications and seems to be turning out really well. I am as much interested to see WIP photos as the final outcome.
Kudos to the person who did this.

Regards,
Jaspreet Singh

and some more pics.

it seems the car was taken to bangalore for some testing, and while coming back, the hood was not secured properly and flew open and hit the windshield.

Bonnet smashed the windshield. That's scary!

Frankly speaking. I dont like the back at all. A better tail light is surely required.
The Head lights have the Alfa Romeo effect which does look good.

Simply Awesome JOB DONE!!The Rear looks like Camry...and the tail pipes from Lexus LFS ,the headlamps from LEXUS concept & DNA of Contessa..

4 exhaust pipes, and no safety clamp on the bonnet to prevent it accidentally flying open. I don't have too much faith in such modding. Be glad to keep 10x10 metres distance when the car's under "dynamic test".

dont think there is a tail light yet at the rear, it looks like a paint pattern and a round radium sticker on it, maybe checking out designs suitable for the car?
