performance upgrades...

hi folks. exam time up. fun time starts.
it didn't take much time for me to realise that my car aint no good when it comes to acceleration.
the first damn thing to strike my mind was performance upgrades.
being a li'l new to engine mods i would require much help from here. hope u guys would be willing to do so...

CARS: Hyundai Santro Xing XG
Fiat Palio 1.2 NV Sport
lets go:
1) K&N Air Filter: it does increase performance/mileage and its on top priority.
2) Freeflow Exhaust: Medium Loudness. would love to tap the gas pedal here n there...
3) Autometer Tacho: i need the one with the external shift light.
4) MOMO Gearknob/Sparco Wheel: is there anything cheaper available that looks just as good... i dont mind the momo logo not present.

these are it for the while.
now i know many guys here have gone the modding way...right?
so it would be quite helpful for me if u guys could post the prices of these components. and the place u bought it from.
and can anyone direct me to any good Auto Tuner/Part Stockist in New Delhi. I would be really grateful.
thanks

performance auto in noida ,sector -2.near the woodlands showroom.

i am not sure if he would do tha same as autopsyche.also his rates vary depending on the customer.in other words ,the performance auto guy sukkks.
still you can talk to him,as they are into organising races around the NCR.also he is the distributor for K&n in delhi.

You can contact Mr. Raj Kapoor (owner) or Mr.John (manager) at 95120-2541978, 2531227. D-48 Sec 2 Noida... take the lane next to the woodlands showroom from the main road his workshop is a few places to the right. And as spedsatya said his pricing is definitely very weird. Goodluck with your cars anyway!

Cheers

yeah good luck with your cars.
as once i had asked him as to what exactly is a free flow.there was this dark guy,who told that FF actually involves changing the muffler to a loud one.so when i asked him about headers ,he was not aware of its existence.
and he had told that it would cost me abt 4k for the muffler.

and, when i asked him about the advantages of changing the muffler ,he said the FE adn the pick up would increase.hahaha.dunno abt the number of people who have gone to him and have been looted.

all the best.

Hey amit,
Why dont you just drop the car with Autopsyche. He shall handle the rest. And i did read that you stay far off from his workshop, but you can sacrifice a day for that.Go there early morning, chill with some beer and get your car done,if that sounds fine with you??

Hahaha... Nice one...

Anyway has anyone here checked out the Body kits available for the Skoda Octavia through MS Designs or Autostyl - Jaroslav?
Anyone imported these kits to India?
