LED placement options in the rear of a hatch

I went and got myself a 2x10 LED display controller circuit (guess how much it cost )

now the hard part. Where to put the LED's ? I was planning to get a 2x5, and planning to put them on the sides, but with 20, i was thinking of putting them on a strip along the top of the back seat.

this is how the rear of my car looks like
This has to be easily detachable , for when i need to give it for servicing etc

did it come with double sided tape? then you could stick it behind the tail lamps. I have an esteem, and i have made an LED strip for myself, and stuck it on the top. i'll post some pics later today(my camera's battery is down )

Do post pics. In the meanwhile, I dont want it to be visible from outside always - just when the hatch is opened.

hi! here are the pics in my car! let me remind you that my car is an esteem!
@greenhorn, where do you stay? I want one of those boards! what are the called please tell me!!!!
The aluminum foil has been put so that light is reflected of it and not wasted(absorbed) lol

I have soldered the leads to the stock bulb location so the boot now lights up blue when i open it!
It was pretty easy to make, just soldered some blue led's on a 30cm scale, each with a 560 ohm resistor and them wired them up in parallel!
here are the pics:
please tell me what you guys think! the strips are located on the top of the trunk!

can i have a shot of what it looks like (overall effect) on the car ?

I think the boards are manufactured here locally. i think you can get one custom made from the shops that help electronics students with their final year projects ( not sure about the cost tho)

Greenie..someone has given you "kavisham" in LEDs (non-mallus pls excuse).

Is it a 2x10 static display or some bar/running dot display or something ? And white color I presume?

U can think of making emoticons with it...in your rear window of course...what say? A smiley/frowney/thumbs up/some other finger up etc ??

For semi-serious to serious projects, I get my boards made professionally in Bangalore. PM me if anyone wants the contact. They are an industrial large scale producer, but they are open to doing one off boards - a very rare trait indeed. You'll need to design and produce the Gerber files for them though.

In my honest opinion, bling bling like this is a strict no-no for me. Music is meant to be heard yo.
