A by-lane at the opera house area. Ask anyone spare parts lane and they will guide you. Lots of shops there. You will not get parking anywhere close though.

Done:
  • Accelere 195/55/R15 + Lenso White alloys + Nitrogen filled + balancing/alignment= INR 34,900
  • Exhaust tip = INR 600
  • Shark fin = INR 300
  • Front headlight replacement OEM = INR 2000 per piece.
  • Rear headlight replacement OEM = INR 1500 per piece.
  • Hella Horn = INR 1800.
  • A/c Gas = INR 950
  • Grill painting = INR 300
  • Calipers & Drums painting = INR 800
  • Bumper Grill painting = INR 300
  • A/C Panel painting = INR 800
  • Free Flow exhaust by Raj Hingorani = INR 14500
Waiting List:
  • K&N air-filter with plumbing = INR 6200+INR 500
  • Changing the golden grille frame to silver or white ? INR 1000
  • Getting some new decals and emblems. INR 1000
SO the thing is I'd appreciate it very much if you guys could let me know your opinions on these:

Most foreign frames say that unless i take my road to dirty tracks buying a 'performance' air filter is useless. They are of the opinion that the K&Ns are only good for their filter action in rally like dirt conditions and not for everyday use. And the performance gains that are said to be achieved are merely an illusion due to the throaty intake notes.

I've put up pics of my car with the gold grill and the chrome grill.

I've put up pics with the old emblem as well. The new emblems are JDM style ones, the one with the black background is shown or a red one.

P.S: They are my humble GIMP edits, so don't zoom in or anything.

I still prefer the old OEM emblem and the silver grill frame. Personally I would not go in for any decals either.
Please post some shots from side view and of painted calipers & drums as well.
I know the bumper has been painted, but you should have put in the OEM fog lights as well. They are very useful I don't know now if it is possible to match the colour and fit them without damaging the paint.

I've been trying to get hold of OEM fog lamps for sometime, know any place that won't rip me of ? SYJ and others haven't been able to source them from kochi either..

Car is neat as usual :Thumbs up

The golden grill HAS to go, both chrome combinations look good. I kinda like the first one (chrome + black base logo).

OE fogs should not be too much of a hassle to procure, look around for options. They don't help too much anyway, so you can put the same style one's but in a non OE brand too.

Thanks for the compliments Ankit !

Do you know anyone who might be dealing in OE fogs ? The last time i tried, a guy offered me those round fogs that look sick. I don't need functionality, just the looks.
