Fog lamp wiring and switching-Help needed.

Hello people,

I'm planning to get fog lamps fitted on my santro xing and I'm not willing to spend 8k on original ones, So i went to a near by car accessory shop and got a quote of 1.5k for LUMAX branded fog lamp for santro + 300Rs for labor and wiring.

The accessory dealer uses a regular on/off switch but my santro comes with a slot which can accommodate a fog lamp switch which i bought from a hyundai dealer.

The switch has 4+1 connector, and an LED indicator in the front which goes on when the fog lamps are turned on, I just need help in telling the mechanic to do proper wiring so that even the LED comes on when the fog lamps are turned on,
All you electrical experts pls help out.

Thanks

Re: Fog lamp wiring and switching-Help needed.

Bumping this thread up as I have a relevant question.

I need to install fog lamps for my Santro Xing. However, i couldn't locate a slot where I could fit the switch in. From the pictures posted by you, akshay_b I couldn't quite guess where that switch fits in. If you could advise will be very useful. I will not prefer drilling hole through the dash & fit a antiquated push-pull type switch.
