Well guys in Mumbai there is a particular community who is found roaming with a plastic bucket and a small metal container with charcoal in them and they are glowing with fire in them they carry spanners etc also with them.
These guys willl give you a price for any broken into two, smashes , dented, broken elbows, broken mounting lugs etc bumpers grilles,outside mirrors base plates and the price is very very cheap as compared to new bumpers.
later on get it painted from a good painter THATS IT .

I got it done from one of the car denting & repair shops in west Patel Nagar
just opposite the Religare Securities Office on the other side of the road
Anyone would be able to fix it now, i think most of them know the technique
"plastic welding"

My contribution to the Honda City bumper thread.
This is the damage after rear ending an auto at relatively low speed. It looked like just a bumper replacement or repair to us. Then we noticed the ac was blowing out hot air. There was a bar protruding from behind the auto which probably damaged the condensor. Was pure bad luck.
Ring Road Honda estimated a cool 45-50k, for a new bumper, condensor and radiator. We were extremely amused. I think they changed whatever they could. I don't know how the radiator was affected.I know car makers are focusing on repair/service in this slowdown period. But this is darn ridiculous?
Bumper costs only 4k, but painting the bumper is 13k.
Anyway, we paid 10k, insurance covered the remaining ~34k.
