webasto sells the sunroofs of the opel astra club and the optra at 28k including installation .
i think its the same one being offered in the swift.so expect it to be somewhat costlier than 28 k.

Is the Grey color really that bad? what do I do? Got till tomorrow morning to choose between Grey and Black. Didn't like any of the other colors and the Silver, though the best looking, is gonna be waay too common looking at the number of bookings in that color and the Black, i know's gonna look damn sexy, just that it get's dirty real fast in the dusty conditions here and also minor scratches are easily seen. ( I know, I have a Black Enfield and a Dark Green Gypsy) WHat do I do? Helpp

puff..i have seen the grey one...it does not look good....but is better than black ( for scratches and dust...though i myself am going for either red or black.....).........

another problem that i noticed.....5th wheel is not alloy!.....now can the experts tell me..that if i am driving on three alloys and one steel, wont that spoil the balance of the car......and FE as well

yet another problem is no tilt steering...my father is 180 cm and has a healthy build....and his legs r long...the swift steering crashes onto his knees and its a real pain for me to see how uneasy he looks when he is getting into the car....moreover...while getz as well as palio were able to sit him at the pessenger seat easily while driver' seat was on full stretch , it aint so in swift... he said this while coming out of the showroom " I agree that the car is very good...but it could have managed more space......"

whenever a car comes with alloys as oe fitment u get only 4 wheels and one would be the normal steel wheel . i have not seen red in person yet heard that red would be the only solid color available in the car and rest all are metallic colors and the dealer told me that the red will fade out soon bcoz it is a solid color . rest all colors are very sporty . the sunroof on the swift is costing some 31k approx .

have a color query

Have made my mind to book the Zxi and there seems
to be a hitch in the color selection.

Read somewhere that the color fading follows
the VIBGYOR rule that is RED fades fast and Voilet the last.
( cant think scientifically at this point of time ;-))

I like the RED swift and wanna know the following things..

1) Do metallic colors have anything in slowing down
the fading.

2) Why have Maruti/Suzuki guys chosen to offer only
red as non metallic ( any lozic!) and the rest as metallic.
Beats my logic.

3) Do the colors fade that fast and like the red splendor/ red rz 100/ tvs max100
( those are the ones that came to my mind)

4) Isnt the paint technology advanced enuff so that all colors
fare almost equal in terms of fading..

Though the Red SWIFT is not the red shade i was lookin for, it still
looks stunning out of the color options available.

any inputs ppl?

Hurry Home

Yup AGP, I just called up the dealer here and confirmed my final booking choice for Silver. It DOES look absolutely smashing and didn't wanna risk getting a drab Grey. THe only problem is, we're gonna have a damn common looking car. Guess that's part of the reason Tyres andalloys upgradations are for.

Could you post the pricelist here, please? Even scanning and putting up the link would do.

Thanks!

are u sure its 8k fo rthe manual sunroof.
because normally its webasto who makes sunroofs for all cars.like the opal astra club, the optra, the RS.......

and the manual one we are talking about here is the Hollndia 100 costs 13k for installation through webasto along with 2 years warranty.
http://www.webastoindia.com/Hollandia100.html

the other one costs about 28k to 42 depending on the variant u want,

http://www.webastoindia.com/Hollandia300.html

these could be just the MRP w/o taxes also they might be charging the rest of amount as installation. Or may be it could be cheap as they would be sourcing it in bulk
