These are photos of a friends i20 custom fit in auto grade PU ( art leather) not PVC. Big difference from the auto form type slip on seat covers. He also got the steering hand stitched in real leather for a package of just 7900 Rs. in Bangalore with a seat manufacturer with an outlet located in Indiranagar ! I thought the quality of work and fit is top class and its hard to tell if its real leather or not.

I've got AutoForm seat covers in my accent. These are the bucket type ones not just slip ons. They stitch the base and the back to the seat to give it more OEM look.

I even got gear lever and steering done in the same material. Here's how it looks.

Not bad Somu how much did these seat covers cost? Its fitted on top of the original seat covers right? But I think the art leather on the steering is not such a good idea as it tends to peel off with time. Real leather on steering is worth it.

I paid 9k for these seat covers and yes they have been fitted on the original seat cover. I guess you're right but since i've already gotten in done, after this one wears out i'll get leather ones.

9K is on the higher side for slip on PVC seat covers ! Bangalore seems to have the best deals and quality for seating options I guess

7900 bucks for OE fit auto grade PU seats with a hand stitched real leather steering from Karlsson leather in Indiranagar, Bangalore is an awesome deal for an i20 ? Their phone number is 25216394. I discovered they have have really good quality european leather options as well. they are manufacturers and not an accessory shop so prices and options are great.

Ya even I agree, the guy from whom I get all the stuff done also orders a lot of stuff from Bangalore. Delhi has a lot of resellers but few manufacturers.

Are you saying the pics you have attached in earlier post are not real leather? Please confirm as I am interested in only non-leather seating.

I looked at Karlsson website and they advertise only leather seating. Didn't see any non-leather work.

They charge 7900 for seat cover(Art leather) and 1800 for steering cover(real leather). Quality of work seems to be good.

I think the oldest dealer for Autoform in Delhi is Elegant. Their JBL official store was previously exclusive Auto Form store; moreover they still have them at their main store but the prices have increased a lot in the past year.

Just something I noticed is the difference in what is being shown in an advertisement and what is sold. It says skin fit but photos show OE fit seat covers. This is misleading. The photographs of seat covers shown are all with an OE fitting, with original covers removed. Just like how genuine leather seats are fitted by people like Stanley. But what is sold by autoform is a 'skin fit' which are covers fit on top of existing seat covers with hooks,I guess. This 'skin fit' does not offer as good a quality fit as an OE fit ( original equipment fit) and it tends to shift around after some use as we all know. Obviously an OE fit will cost more as work involved is much more.

Also, i went to Elegant, Gurgaon yesterday to enquire for seat covers and he said they are out of stock. I dont believe him, is there any genuine dealer in New Delhi for Autoform?
