Lol. Tell me about it...

@Ricky: Was unfortunate you didn't get what you wanted with the Lancer. Hopefully the Swift will make up for that!

Was on the phone with Phil today he seemed pretty excited about this car.

I can't wait for your review on it, and perhaps what might come in the near future...

Nice to know that Phil is satisfied with his "labour of love" As for me - I still have to drive the car, as the Audio was getting installed today

Wonder when Phil will find the time to put in a post on "his assesment" LOL, some guys are busier than we believe them to be !! LOL

Cheers

Ricky Ji do you really think that Phil can ever be satisfied? Wait till the next keeda comes in real soon.

@ Jitu - Build is NA, but hell one never knows with the number of FI cars popping up in India.
Will leave the rest for Ricky to Phil in (lol haha look I punned), would hate to steal their thunder :P

@Jitu -Could not agree with you more on your observation. The car is NA (as of today), just simple stuff has been done to make it crisp & zippy..A street cam, REAL port & polish job, FFE & headers, air filter. Will run it so for a bit - then see if FPR & ECU is needed etc etc.

@DocG - I agree with you on the keeda bit !! LOL

Will be getting the car back today, shall post pics then..

Cheers

With port & polish and a good cam you will definitely need more fuel to be thrown at the engine. You will lean out otherwise and the full benefits of all these mods will only come when you get your AFRs right.

I am not saying you need an ECU, I am just saying you need to go richer. If you have selected you cam wisely you should get more torque out of that G13B. Have fun...

I have left the technicals to Phil, I am going to run the car with the present mods for a bit - if found lacking will certainly look at the FPR.

As for the selection of the cam, I have chosen a street cam, so it is not VERY WILD & has a stable idle but with the signature gurgle..Phil did some serious "research" before ordering the specs for the cam. I am confident it will deliver !!

Thanks for your inputs anyways !!

Cheers

Just got my hands on the car, a big THANKS to PHIL aka Mr. Speedsport !!! WOW, the torque delivery is way better than stock. The rumble though a tad loud is addictive. The way the car takes off as the cam kicks in is awesome. Did not get time to "test" it's true potential, so shall do so tommorow..

I kind of like the gurgle of the rough idle note, will have that sorted out in a few days, once I have driven it enough to know what I miss in the car. so far I miss nothing.

The Audio sounds great, as expected the BULL has had a great run (VFM stuff). I think on a shoestring budget I could not have expected better.

So all in all a great investment.

A cam pulley & FPR may be next on the agenda, though for now I am happy with the way she runs, may want a quiter muffler though :-)

Is this a good enough review ? Maybe, but then I have to take her for a "spin" in the real sense to really get to know her !! Don't you agree

Well so long, so far no regrets, what was promised WAS delivered, that is all that counts !!

More tommorow

Cheers

What.
A review and no Pics.
Not fair Ricky.
We want pics.
Under the hood and around the hood.

Do start a new thread in the Sound off Show off section about your ICE as well.

Congrats. Nice to hear that you have got what you want.
