Waiting for it.

Phill is one crazy Guy and one hell of a driver, I recently handed him over the keys to my car during a causal drive back from dinner. I still cant forget, DAMN I need better tires.

The RD ECM came to Delhi & went back to Bangalore :-( wrong address.. finally got delivered yesterday.

Our dear Mr. Speedsport is "seasoning" it as he has no time to put it on my car before the next few days. The car will also be getting a clutch change - seems like all the extra power has ended the life of the clutch sooner than I thought.

Now once the ECM is in it will have even better acceleration - hence the new clutch is coming in at the right time.

Will update soon (well as soon as Phil finds the time to do the car)

Cheers

I hope you are putting in an upgraded clutch. SGP wont hold long either.

UPDATE-

The clutch which had lived it's life, has been replaced with an uprated clutch assembly. The brake pads have been replaced with OE spec ones, as i found the braking to be quite upto the mark.

The ECU is being put in (finally) at the present moment. So let us see what all this adds upto. I was very satisfied with the car's performance, and hope it would improve further. The idle issue should be sorted (which was the only glitch)

So basically looking forward to it getting completed.

Will put in my view once I drive it.

Cheers

There were issues about the couplers, as this car is with a factory fitted immobilizer. The software is still awaited.

Can't wait to get this over with & DRIVE !!

I really admire what you are doing with your car.
There is always the difference in buying a high performance car and then for the similar amount, turning a normal car into a STREET car.
You are a true enthusiast ! Three cheers

Seems like Kartik is too busy for us in North India. His non-responsiveness has me at my wits end. I've asked Phil to give the car back to me with my stock ECU.

The rough idle issue was sorted out by him long long back - but I was insisting on the Racedynamics ECU. Seems like it is not to be.

Will post updates / videos of the car with the new clutch & brakes AND a sorted out idle.

Alas some things are not meant to be. I think Racedynamics should outright refuse work from North India or wherever he cannot handle the workload.

I am going to make my Swift a slingshot some day WITHOUT racedynamics. God willing.

Hope to get the car back in a day or so.

No problem - just that the software has not arrived for it be of any use. This inspite chasing Kartik for a long enough time.

Why sell a product when you cannot support it ? They would do well to learn from Pete's.

This is just based on my experience. People in Bangy of course have it better !

Cheers

...? Software, of all things? Most standalone manufacturers give away their software on their websites for free, I think RD should start doing the same.

I do not know if he does. What I was referring to was business practices as in Customer Service

@pranavt
Ya software of all the things..first it was delay in the ECU (which is fine) then the couplers needed sorting out (no problem) & then the software just was not being sent. Patience has a limit - right ?
I do not wish to bad mouth anyone. Just want to say - don't sell what you can't service. Period

Cheers
