Hope that the stock gearbox holds, not yet getting into more expense as of now. Let's see how it goes, still waiting for the clutch to come.

Cheers

Wiring it should be relatively easy if you have the pinouts of the stock harness. The onboard 1.5 bar MAP sensor is a real bonus and the rest of the components are just electrical sensors that require a bit of elbow grease and heatshrink tubing to get perfect. Good luck with the same.

Regarding gearbox, avoid giving jolts to it (launching at boost, power shifts, etc.) and it should last.

Known to give headaches to tuners.
This will take a while and should be done carefully.

Dont worry about the g13b gearbox atleast for now. The worst gearbox is in the baleno. If you can get a engine damper that will help reduce the rocking forces on the gearbox.

If you are talking about the blue bar you see in my engine bay, then no its not the engine damper, its the strut brace.
An engine damper is like a small shock absorber which fits in between the strut mount top and the engine head to avoid the flexing of the engine when it revvs hard.

C'mon I am not "that" technically challenged I know the blue thingy is a strut brace !

But I sure did not know about the concept of the engine damper. Thanks for the information.

Though I do not know if I need that as yet.

Thanks & Cheers

My Apologies
Well, whether its needed or not is a completely relative decision but installing it will definitely help in the long run.
Thats what I feel.

Ok, now I understand the concept. Guess it'd also lessen strain on engine mounts, because of lesser lateral movement. Right ? And you don't need to apologise buddy

The clutch came-in almost two days ago, dont know but I think its on the car already. Last two days Phil had been wiring up and setting the ECU, nitrous rightly said this was a true headache but everything is sorted now.

Car was fired up tonight, I just came back from Speedsport so giving you live update. As of now Phil is still at the workshop fine tuning the car, expect a phone call tomorrow

Initial impression was good, We did not go full throttle or full boost as things were still being set.
