Scorpio Modifications (Cosmetic)

Hi, I am looking for some minor modifications for my Scorpio. I would love to have the front look like the Axe but that would be too radicle & major rework.

Model : Mahindra Scorpio VLX (mHawk 2.2) Sep '09

Exterior

1. Putting the spare wheel on the rear door (similar to JEEP)
2. Rear LED Tower lights under the existing non functional tail lights
3. Illuminated body coloured OVRM's
4. Widened front grill (Jeep style)
5. Shark fin roof antenna
6. Shortened front bumper with fog lamps.

Interior

1. Automatic type gear shift.
2. Double foldable middle row seat (only one, to ease access to third row
- similar to Xylo)

Any pointers to a reliable mods expert in Mumbai.

that will put stress on the tailgate which is not made to take on the weight of the spare.

so you might have to make the hinges stronger or carry out modifications to the rear door!

Hi Parm,

Agreed, The door would need to be reinforced & probably additional hinges would be required else the weight tyre would either rip the skin or the entire door would hang down.

Hmm, so you are the guy from the Back to the Future series.

You must get a September 2009 Scorp for me too. btw, did they fix the throbbing gear shift?

Dunno about the Back to the Future but my Sep '09 is available for sale if I get the right price . And Throbbing truck style gear shifts are a M&M hallmark.
