I want to upgrade my Palio headlights without spending too much money. Whats the best upgrade available without much modification...

Palio's headlights are terrible compared to Lancer.

I am not sure what your definition of best is. I have a Lancer and Palio from past 3 yrs and Lancer does not have even clear glass headlight but i think vision is far better than palio.

Arnt low beam and high beam in the same bulb?? I don't think u can replace just one..

And actually, u can't decide on lights from seeing the pix posted. The only way is by gettin the bulbs on the car and seeing it for urself. And if u have clear lens headlamps, don't ever go in for higher wattage bulbs cuz it'll fry the clear lens, and totally spoil its look.

For better light - Philips Vision Plus
For more style - Philips Diamond Vision(Bluish), Philips Crystal Vision(White)

Palio has different high and low beam bulbs, so yes you can replace just what you want

Palio has the same setup as Optra - H1 for high beam and H7 for low beam.

I have fitted Philips Rallyeye 85 watts H7 for low beam and 100 watts H1 for high beam in my Optra in addition to the OE foglights. Just got back from a week in Goa and the lights were a serious improvement over everything I've tried so far, including Crystal Visions. I've had them for more than a month now and gone out of town several times on the highways, and there is absolutely no damage, blackening, hazing, burnout etc to my headlight assembly. Also, I don't know about Palio, but Optra has already got the wiring to support up to 100 watts, so I didnt have to make any wiring or relay changes.

Rallyeye H1 costs approx 500 bucks and H7 costs 600. Definitely better than Crystal Vision, Vision Plus, Diamond Vision etc etc as far as pure visibility goes.

Cheers

Yes they do come in H1 and H7. I tried them on my car. Ok for use in the city but totally crap on the highways. Still have the Crystal Vision H7 if anyone wants.
