Ok, finally managed to get the front arm rest installed on my Linea. Got it done at Fortune Cars, Powai.
Rajendra - who works there - was very kind to do the R&D required to get the part list, and order them from Fiat.
The spare parts cost comes to @2k only, and labour charge is @ 1.5K.

The armrest makes life so much easier, im loving it.

It is identical to what comes as standard on the Emotion PK.

It is possible to get it fitted on the punto. The second advantage is that its possible to get a rear vent for the AC, with more mods.

The Linea is wider than the Punto. If you want to install the armrest from the linea on the punto, you will first have to change your seats to make space for it. This is due to additional width of the Linea.

Linea Armrest for Punto - FITS PERFECTLY

Finally, I could fit Linea armrest in Punto. It fits perfectly. You need the following parts:
Part No: Part
735489747: Armrest
51780084: Bracket
11568424: M6x25 Bolts - 3 Nos.
14644990: Rivets - 2 Nos. (Optional - if you could get someone to rivet)

You need to remove the existing cup holder unit which is behind the handbreak & you need to cut the cupholder part of the console. The bottom body has the necessary bolt holes & holes for riveting (however its very difficult fit the rivet). All you need is to fix the bracket to the body & the bracket will come through the cupholder (which you need to cut-out) and then fix the armrest to the bracket. you are done. And it fits perfectly.

Overall spare part cost is Rs.1500/- max. (YES IT IS FIFTEEN HUNDRED I HAVEN'T OMITTED 'zero')

And guess what, the armrest is imported & not a local unit. The wrapper has the logo of LANCIA

Its a steal for Rs.1500/-!! Did you buy it from Fiat? Any other charges?
Can you please upload some pics of your work?
