Get bilstein if u want rock hard ride with gr8 handling . allthough the ride will be stiffer than stock swift it is much better damped with great rebound. the faster u go the better the ride will be.The B14 kit will be around 65k and will be available from december only with petes dealers.the kit contains shocks and height ajustable springs. If u want to remarkably improve the ride quality with marginal improvement in handling (20%) get the koni FSD . they cost 45k for the shocks. i am using the FSDs and it rides as well as a fabia or punto but handles better than both of them.

I use bilsteins on my superb . the low speed ride feels very stiff but all uncontrollable body roll is gone . it is phenomenal on the highway (for the driver) and i would say that the car feels like a front wheel driven 5beemer through corners . understeer is cut down remarkably and u can power out through corners at massive speeds.

Hi rippergeo,

If you dont mind, could you PM me the cost of the Supersprint exhaust (including the custom downpipe).

Already have the box and filter from pete's, this would be the next step.

Thanks

He got it from Petes, so they should be able to get the price for you.
From what ripper said, Supersprint alone did't make any drastic change (yes not even in the sound) when he had the "box" on. But... after the remap it sounds sweet.

Last time I met him (2 weeks back) the car still has the "growl" this is rather cool.

The sound is really of no concern, but wouldn't the exhaust lead to better breathing though. Would it be of any advantage?

Because when driving the car, one can feel a little easier exhaling would go a long way. but that may not be a reality.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Guys.

Hello Ripper,

Sorry to bump-in on an old thread. I have a 2008 Swift (D), and I'm planing to give it a new life.
Can you please share the details of the Turbo you've put in. Model and price?
And how to procure it ?

Hi,
I'm planning to install Turbo Boost gauge in my Diesel swift.
Can you point me to the exact pipe (with a picture) in the engine bay from which the boost/vaccum can be tapped ?

Excuses for the late response.
I successfully installed the boost gauge with help from member audioholic
I tapped the boost pressure from the hose just before the intake manifold (this pipe is from intercooler to intake)
