No, I was running the PSI box. Now using the Diesel Inside Remap. No tuning box. DTE was put there just for comparison

i think you meant 195/60, which is the closest you can get to stock OD
195/65 would be ideal, but i dont know of any good brands in that size

195/55 would make an even bigger speedo error than 195/60, which itself is slightly off

here am not talking about speedo error but the tyre size which will be best suited for small cars like swift...

195/65 R 15 i won't recommend as the car is lowered and it might touch the fenders if it is loaded with passegers or heavy luggage

205 /55 will also affect fuel economy and also the vehicle's initial and top end !! and this size will make the steering wheel too heavy more than 195/55 !!

Some people need Fuel Economy so they keep it 165/80/14 (Stock)
Some need a bit more comfort so they too keep it stock.

Some need a bit more grip they do 185/70/14

Some need looks + Grip the upsize to 15/16/17 even.
Ride goes out the window and you bottom out most of the time.

I personally feel 195/60/14 are enough for a Stock swift again 195 AD07 might be over kill for some. (EDIT: my next planned upgrade)

There is no easy or final answer.
It all depends on how you drive and what your priorities are.

am talking about 195/55 R 15 and not 14 inch !!

If 14 inch 185 /60 is the best bet !!

I guess we need to use these tyres before posting such statements.

I had 195/60/R15 Yokohama A-Drives for around 8k kms before I moved on to Michelin PP2 205/55/R15. The steering wheel at the start was a bit heavy, but after the "run-in" period of the tyres, its just perfect. Almost like it was with the A-Drives. But maybe compared to the stock 185/165 tyres, you might feel it a bit heavier.

And never cared to check FE before/after nor will do

dude i have tested and only then i commented ..

and if you can , try fitting 195/60 back on your ride and you will know , its only that you got used to driving with 205/55 R 15...

and again i said IMHO 195/55 is best tyre for swift .. but you can fit anything you like no need to start a war man !!!

Best upsize for swift in 15" 195/60-15 205/60-15
and in 16" 195/55-16 205/55-16

Abhi i think 205/60/15 and 205/55/16 both will touch the inner wall on pot holes or with full load.

Ideal would be 195/60/16 and 205/50/16 but will say stick to 15" for comfort as compared to 16

guru ji .. try the sizes in a lowered swift and you will know !!

again i said "IMHO" if i buy swift and plonk 15 inch i will use 195/55 R 15 the same am using in my getz !!

Sir he is right
how many swifts have you driven with upsize tyres
there is a lot to consider rather than goin down on profile for no reason.
195\55R15 is a correct upsize for getz,so it doesnot mean its correct for swift too.

195\60R15 or 205\55 R15 but 205 would be a slight overkill
