i have a re-0950 conical, universal typr air filter fitted in my accent viva-crdi(diesel)
the sound has changed to that of a dcm/eicher truck, on the exterior but in the interior the smooth, sweet ummm racing sound is heard while cruising!
the pick-up has increased by 15-20% at least thats how it feels, i need lesser down shifts in the city now, and is great compared to the OE one!

cant comment compared to the other brands yet!

i am planning one for my unicorn too, from the other forums and orkut i have heard that r-1060or rc-1060 is the best suited filter for the bike! can any owners suggest a brand and a model, it would be very helpful!

these are the links to the models suggested for my unicorn!

here is the link to the picture of the filter in my car!

Firebird - I have used a stock replacement K&N with a FFE on my 1.6 Adventure with great results. No initial hesitation and the low end response has improved dramatically.

Hey Kaizer,

Can you please help me know from where you got your Green wind filter installed and at what costs?

Is this a replacement for your stock filter or is it a conical filter, please.

You do mention they are better than K&N, any data-inputs for comparison will also help.

Cheers

rmonie sorry to disappoint you but I think you should go back to your stock paper filter. If you can see the outline of the sun when you hold the filter up against the sun on sunny day its a warning sign of severe engine damage that will come sooner than later. I am not too sure about the efficiency of the woven cotton Green Cotton filter but the K&N and similar media filters are a definite no no for you engine. Please do remember that the total surface area of your stock paper factory filter is more than any after market filter. Think about that.

I am in the process of modifying the stock airbox on my GTX and some of the details are on the Palio Users group forum. Will post details here when I perfect the tuning length of the air inlet.

Green Air filter vs K&N Air filter

I had searched on the forum, but couldnt got the comparison between the 2 performance air filters.
So, which one you will prefer and why?
and which is the best air filter for the car in green or k&n?

It will be a good discussion...

(if similar thread is there in the forum then please provide the link and mods can close this thread or merge to the similar thread)

FE in Corsa

How can I improve the FE in my 1.6 Corsa. I currently average 9-9.5 to a L.

Any ownership threads talking about Corsa.

Does changing the filter make a difference in the FE as well ..... if yes how much ???
