Hi!
it is for diesel version only. petrol the discount is more. even tata motor finance is offering a gift scheme. where everyone gets a gift like watch/ laptop/ foreign trip etc if car is financed by them. the guys at concordfe told me they too will give insurance free if i opt for 9% interest otherwise it will be 7.25%. even without any of this the dealer is offering 10K on indigo diesel since long.

Any info/Personal experience in this regard is greatly appreciated & will help me out of the dilemna. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sandy,

I am also considering of replacing the company stock filter with K&N filter. For K&N filters, there are two options which are Stock filters and Performance(Conical) filters. The rates quoted to me are around 4K for stock and 7K for Conical/performance filter of K&N for a Tata Indica V2 Non-Turbo diesel.

He did confirm me that there will be a slight increase in torque and performance. Also, he did offer me a another choice of Brand starting with P**** but don't remember the name. The only difference between the two is that for the price of stock K&N, I'm getting a conical filter of this brand.

Will let you know incase I get it installed.

Cheers

Keep Modifying ! ! !

Hi

Has anyone tried out a aur intake kit with a conical filter for an Indigo LX. How is the improvement in performance and how is the sound?

Unfortunately, stock replacement filters are not available for the Indigo (only available for Indica).

Regards

I found this link on the internet for the part number:
K&N Introduces New Air Filter for India's Popular Diesel, the Tata Indigo

Part number is 33-2921

Will this air filter fit on Indica Petrol (1.4) also?

I'm curious after reading this thread. Did anyone get any real performance benefits adding this to an indica ( NA/Turbo?)

some honest feedback would be appreciated

There is no reply or should i say honest feedback to greenhorn's query. The article also state's that there will be no major difference for a city driven car.

Hence I am confused whether to go in for a K&N filter for my Indica Turbo or not. Can someone give a feedback.
