Need XUV500 W8 Seat covers Repaired or Replaced.

Hello Bhp'ians.

This is my first post in the group.

I need help with my XUV 500 w8 2013.

The original seat upholstery is now almost fully destroyed and I have not had any seat covers since it has airbags.

But now even the foam is visible on the seat base, the leather is almost shredded and the pieces are just hanging.

1. Is there a trusted place in Mumbai, that can help me restore the original seat covers? They need to be fully repaired.

2. Any brand of AIRBAG Compatible seat covers that I can go for?

Experts in the groups need your advice on the same.

Re: Seat upholstery torn | How to repair or replace?

I have got my seats repaired and seat covers replaced in MUMBAI. The seat covers are custom-fitted, the original seat covers were removed and replaced with PU material seat covers.

The sensors and airbags are refitted with the new covers and will work as intended.

I have replaced the front and middle row, as the last row covers are fine.

I will be taking the car delivery today.
Also, I feel the cost was reasonable.

I will update with pics later.

Re: Seat upholstery torn | How to repair or replace?

My car (Swift) back seats fabric upholstery are quite badly stained at dirty. I am trying to choose between getting it cleaned or replacing the upholstery itself. It's a very old car which I hardly drive - so I want to which is more economical. How much would replacing the whole upholstery - front & back seats cost - I am looking for fabric upholstery? And about cleaning itself - can detailers remove old stains etc?

Kindly advice if the work was done properly and from where did you get it done?

Re: Seat upholstery torn | How to repair or replace?

Dear Bhpians - I'm looking for some advice here. Below shown pics are of my car's driver seat. They have very minimal wear and tear. And, this is the only seat that has worn out. All other seats are in perfect shape (almost as new). Is there a way I could get this repaired? I'm not willing to shell out 13k for a complete set replacement. If I could get the problematic seat fixed, I can save some bucks!
