Woah! Amazing . I am glued to this thread now . What colour is the modified contessa going to be ? My exams just finished so just did a quick photoshop job .

I have been following this thread off & on. It seems like a brilliant piece of work, being seriously pursued with the conclusion in sight.

Kudos to the team involved & thanks for the great updates

Looking forward to the finished product as also the WIP updates.

Ah! Now the wheel arches look prefect and blend nicely with the design! Fantastic progress guys.This will be one head-turner!

A folding hardtop?! Why go through all that pain? It will be very challenging to implement. Why not a simple fabric top?
Well because we like challenges on our plate and personally i like the hartops better looking. but we arent promising on the folding top yet. lets see what time and effort has for us.

All this is a result of what Nigel is capable of. i have known him for years but he still surprises me.

I hope this project really comes out well.
Keep the Contessa's GLX bumpers and steering wheel safely. Conti parts are not so easy to get. Someone might need them.

good news

but i would like to share that i got a granddad for my opel vectra. i got myself a w126 500 SEL yesterday. we found it during our hunt for the v8s but i simply fell in love with the car and got her home. pics to come soon.
