I would suggest something better that stripes. The stripe design has been overused and is too cliched. But I agree it is the simplest to execute.

Those wires on 'stang bonnet are called Hood Pins. They are placed in order to open the hood quickly and easily when working under the hood, either for convenience or in case of emergency.

Actually they hold the hood down in case the latch fails when racing, preventing the bonnet from opening and hitting the windscreen.

i am sorry guys. it was Nigel who asked me not to update the pics as we are close to finish on the body part. so it would make sense if we show you the primered pics. Also its only a matter of two three days more.

Sure,
Will be updating later tomorrow, work has been painful over the last week, greatest difficulty has been with getting the left identical to the right, but we've finally managed that. certain areas still need to be covered, which wud be completed Tomorrow, we are currently into fine details which are taking time.
Thanks for the support as well as the impatience though,, has been responsible for goading us on.

i agree i had been dicey with the matter of WIP pics but we were just working our butts off on the car and managed to achieve quite a lot. i would be clicking pics tomorrow as towards the end of day we were finished and working in the heat has killed us too. well watch out this space tomorrow evening.

Just one word WOW!
That is definitely one of the better Mod jobs around!
Was expecting some more advancement though frankly, but nonetheless, outstanding lines on the side profile! KUDOS!!

i agree buddy but on our defense its the final line level that takes a hell of a lot of time as this is a hand built product up from scratch so we cant afford any unevenness here ,as we expect a phenomenal level of finish on the final product.

And as you mentioned, to be in the league of 'better mod jobs' around we have to be very specific to details and attention to details should be done with high level of care and become one of the best. cheers!
