Hey man.. awesome work.. to tell you the truth ive been having this idea of modding a contessa or an amby for a pretty long time now. but due to some difficulties that dream is still a dream. but am thrilled to see you doing something like this.. atleast it will keep me going for a while. All the best man and your car is turning out to be a masterpiece.

Hey thanks a ton man.. actually we too have a fantasy to make a proper hot rod styled amby as our workshop display car, well its still a fantasy though lets see only time will tell.for now, work is happening at a steady pace. we are getting there. and have some surprises in store too...well Time again my man! he he.

BTW, You guys are planning to use projectors on both head lights and fog lamps?

Thank you man! well it would take another 2 months with the engine and mechanicals.

Just a suggestion : Use projectors with angel eyes on both headlights and fog lamps, They give you great look.

This is a great effort and hats off to everyone who is involved. It takes a lot of courage and patience for such an effor. Glued to this thread, i had read all the pages in a single strech. All the best for a great completed product.

well aayan buddy i am in a pickle. i came across the 500 SEL while hunting for the v8s and now when i have got her, i dont have the guts to tear down this beauty. so while the conti being done you might also see a new thread on redoing up the W126.

well for now, the conti is our priority, lets see how things go. looking for some serious work tomorrow on it, will even try and update pics.
