Because Contessa was made utilizing the tooling and was based on Vauxhall Victor . This MIGHT be the reason .

hmmm... Glad that you liked my suggested color scheme. Trust me, you gotta see it in person to believe it. On a muscle car, White Paint + Blue Stripes = ymmmmm. Do remember one thing if you are into stripes. The width of the stripes and gap between both of them matters a lot. Too much gap, it will look a bit flimsy, and too wide stripes will look a bit funny. Stripes are about adding some character to the car, not destroying it. And it varies according to the frontal shape and width of the car itself.

Makes me recall some cars with stripes, like Swifts and Lancers and even 800's I have seen in Delhi. I was like

yes correct!! well as mentioned earlier the car is named as vauxhall venom GT..i would have named it after the HM conti but HM india lousy service compelled me to do so.

yes i agree and +1 on some of those stripe job on Indian cars

Dear Sunil,

Have you considered a Single Black GT Stripe running right through the center of the car? This bold black stripe placed between two thin black lines will add definition to the muscle car, specially in Yellow & White colours.

The same combination can be achieved with Blue Car - White Stripe.

Then you can have the same theme running along either sides of the car (towards the lower side).

In my opinion, the Vauxhall logo on the hood will take away the impact of a muscle car.

Is White a good option at all ?! Keeping pollution in mind it wouldnt be too long before it starts developing a slight tinge of yellow.

Id keep it dark if I was you.

Anyways, if you are going to make multiple copies of the Body (for replacement purpose), why not paint each copy in different color?

Dark blue with white stripes or the other way round would look amazing according to me.
Also have you considered ghost stripes like in these pics :

first impression it gave out was that it was DENTAL FLOSS!!
