yes, you may say so because there is a lot of attention to details and we are talking about a new steering wheel(we make it), custom bucket seats, custom speedometers, custom AC ducts, custom knobs etc. But i dont know really because the exteriors were equally very difficult too. Now i am confused.

wow... the interior job definitely looks pretty tough than i had thought it might be after looking at the pics. What kind of materials are you considering for the dash? And would you go about making then in similar fashion in fiber glass and cover it ?

I suppose the dash is going to be made from wood? Its certainly easy to work with AFAIK. It can be finished in many ways like a leather finish by covering with ART leather, a merc style polish (provided you have a skilled person for it, a rarity these days), covering with primer and body filler and spray painting it with paint or chroming it along with jet black portions. Many many options!

If the dash is going to be exactly how the dummy looks then one thing you need to keep in mind is that there is no place to keep small things infront of the passenger seat. I mean there is always a little something you like to keep outside like your dark glasses, cellphone, bluetooth earpiece etc etc. so I just wanted to point you to a mildly more practical direction.

I have a feeling that the interiors will be more complicated that the exteriors!!

well the interiors are gonna be molded in fiberglass too and will be later covered in leather. well it wont be fair to say which ones more easier because at the end of the day we are the ones who have to do it.

I never for a moment tried to imply that it is an easy job. Having just worked on making a new dash out of wood I just thought I'd put forward the thought.
What about the other suggestion of making space for those small things that have no fixed place??

(BTW - I'm a BHPian now! YAY! )

The car has turned out really great!

Please no stripes or any graphic, a single metallic color should do the trick.
The car seems to change shape at many places so a color which would make them pop-up would be good.

Sorry pal. Can't give pics. The owner of the car I was working on was very finicky about me taking any pictures so unfortunately my first job will remain undocumented. (It was an Old OHC just BTW)

hey konjaril

now this is what a real mod job is all about
someone make the pseudo spoiler, body kit modders come visit this thread

kudos brother......the dedication and hard work is superb and i am not saying it for the heck of it, i mean it
I am trying to get into this whole modding game and just too lazy to get going

i guess you are doing this at your own garage or some, that the reason for this much detailing ?

check out this dash colour, what colour are you planning for interiors
i guess black will give it a mean look while beige / camel will look luxurious and clean

Konjaril, is the exterior of the car made in parts or has been made of two /three big parts? Since you are in pune, it might be wise to duplicate the exterior parts of the car while you are in process of completing the car... you might need all the parts replaced atleast once in life since its all fiberglass considering the pune traffic
