to all you guys out there..how much will the tachos from autometer the one with the gear shift indicator cost..i think the ones i found out from a few shops are highly overpriced..so any idea of their estimates..and is it ok to put neons for zen because the shopkeeper says due to the bad roads it will easily break..any methods to prevent the breaking and how much will these neons cost..

hey buddy if you find the auto-meter gauges too expensive..then just resort to what almost all locals do..get auto-gauge..the looks are the same and they function well enough...also as far as neons are concerned..breaking of the neons depnds on how you drive your car ..you have to be very careful on speed breakers...the only safety measure i can think of is what i had done on a lancer long back was got custom made fiber sheilds and covered the neons with them..i dont think you'll have to do all that just try your luck..do update us with what finally happened...if you do need any other info please feel free to pm me..cheers...!!

The auto-meter tacho's are really costly....priced at around 8-10k....everyone's getting the auto-gauge ones...they work equally well and cost only 6.5k for the 5.5" ones and the small 3.5" ones will cost u 4k with the shift lights.... as for neons there's no way u can hide it under the car...u just gotta be careful like dragger says...or u can increase your suspension height...

hey guys thanks 4 the info and i just cant seem 2 find autogauge tachs 3.5" ones..btw found a solution to the neons problem..got 3 neons the round ones that are supposed to be fitted inside the car fitted on the chassi..the effect is really awesome..have been asked by a lot of people how i had got tht effect..tho the light effect is a bit on the lower side right in the middle of the car..will post pics asap..and the neons are fitted in such a way tht they will never break no matter how u go over a hump..pretty cool...i think all u guys with cars havin low grnd clearance can try out this...

Ok for the guys from bangalore this shop called "Car N Style" on JC Road cross (take the left before the first signal on JC Road and go straight for 50mtrs....its on the left) He has the 3.5" auto-gauge tacho's for sale....3500 bucks for the one with shift light and 3000 bucks for the one without shift light....

same over here have searched for pricol tachs everywhwere in bangalore but in vain..not able to get even 3.5" auto guage tachs with the gear shift indicator...only the 5" available but r damn expensive..anyone got an idea where u get them back here and how much it would it cost..

i think tachos are a must for every car and bike.
they give u feeling of power and torque.
without tacho driving a car is really booring
