alternate way to fix neons on zen

hi guys today i went to a place to fit neons for my zen 2005 model..but as the chassi is very low the chances of the tube breaking on collision with a hump is realistically high..so dissoppointed that i wont be able to put neons under my car thought of putting one atleast inside the car and asked the guy to show me the ones tht fit inside..these are the circular ones and the moment i saw them an idea flashed..these circular neons are not as big as the tube ones fitted to a end cap panel which comes to about an inch and half from the floor board..but these circular plated neons meant to be mounted on the roof of the car are pretty small and also provide more ground clearance and also prevent breaking of the same on impact with humps..so bought 4 of these so tht i can fix them on the chassi..and they cost pretty less too..bcoz the ordinary ones were quoted at rs 1000 4 3feet and tht wud have cost me rs 4000..but these circular ones are not only small but cost about rs 275 each..pretty cheap,safe,and about 4 of these should give a fabulous effect(correct me if im wrong)..has any one tried this before and and any one of u got any better ideas..planning to even raise the height of the car by 1inch by addin spacers..is it feasible to increase the height like this, will it afffect the cars performance in any way..pls suggest ..

buddy first off all.dont raise the height of ur zen.it looks pathetic.trust me.

secondly.as for the neon thingy.the smaller ones can be installed but i wont look nice coz the tube is meant to spread the light evenly around the car,whereas the smaller ones will look very cheap coz they`ll only cover the wheel area.and the rest will be dark.so i wudnt suggest that too.

now thirdly. rs1000 for a 3 feet neon????????????? damn.i`ve bought 4 feet neons for rs600 each.i`ve put two 4feet neons on the side of my car.n it looks amazing.even OHC has a lower ground clearence.but it has not given me en kinda problem on speed breakers or stuff till yet.its been around 2 months now

i depeneds on how the lights have been fitted. the best place to them it is on the inside of the joint or whatever u call it.on which u put the "jack".i will be safe there.

thnks 4 ur suggestion...havent raised the height of my car but got the neons fitted in such a way that it wont touch the tarmac even over a hump or a big pothole..will post pics asap..the neon effect is really good i must add..

hey aveek i got a maruti service station owned by my uncle near the hebbal flyover..i am supplying neons for all cars so u can pm me or call me on 9886073522..my name is rahul..and i can gaurantee u that the cost will be 50% less than what they charge outside..

well strobes will also be available with me by next week..so a ohc fitted with strobes under the car a few days back.so decided to pick up neons and strobes in bulk and supply at cheaper rates.really the car looked really hot...the price ranges from 850-6000..pm for the details..

PS: btw is there any reason as to why none of the cameras are able to pick up the brightness of the neons and their spread at night ...they appear very blurred on cam but in reality they are bright and also spread over a large distance which by this video doesnt seem so obvious...
