| Advise on exhaust design
I am very keen to have a twin exhaust on the sides of my friends esteem,what i mean here is instead of the conventional back exit,we want it to have exits at the end of both the back doors.
The esteem runs a full FFE,wht i would like to know guys is,
1)We would like to retain the headers and where the pipes merge from four in to two we would like to put in a muffler and then have two pipes leading out one at each side.What would be the effect of having a 4x2 exhaust??Would it like lose or gain?
2)or we could let it merge from 4 in to 2 in to 1 then again make two exits from this one pipe installing a Y piece.
3)what would happen if we dont use the expansion in the FF set up.
