Was just wondering. How about spraying the bumpers with clear coat?

Anybody tried this?

May look nice for some days... imagine how it will look like when the layer of paint starts getting separated from the bumper plastic over a period of time...? it may look worse than the original bumper.

after applying the polish, i brush it with a shoe brush, and then remove excess polish with a polishing cloth

So, there is no permanent solution I guess.
Polishing it once in a while seems to be the option.
I somehow dont feel comfortable using the Shoe Polish ;-) Sounds funny to me.
