hey sanjeev
amazing progress man
the chrome bumpers look super cool
are those actual steel or chrome plated fibre, if its steel, did you check on the possibility of chrome plating on fibre

if you ask my opinion on the decals, pls dont do it, your Contis on the way to becoming a mean no nonsense machine, you dont want to mess with it

Thanks. The bumper is in steel and it's for the front. Actually, i was trying in Dubai for plating my fibre back bumper with chrome. But, i had been informed that only ABS plastic parts (my bumper is made in fibre locally) can be chromed there . I had also been informed that in Germany there is a new system for chroming anything under the sun. Do any company in India performs fibre chroming ?

For the decals, i had already made them but not yet planned to stick them!!

Hi,
The car has been coated with a black paint for further checks on the body shape.

super cool !!!!!
the hood looks amazingly mean
are you planning a matt charcoal black or a glossy one
personally, i think a jet black(redder instead of greener) would absolutely rock with your shiny chrome fenders

have you thought about the front grille, are you sticking with the stock taller grille or going for the mustang types?

keep the pics comin....

thanks, before the things get further confused,i must inform that the planned color for the car will be imported dupont bright red and clear with 50% gloss. The black color was painted only to see if any defects are there in the body shape. As you had mentioned ,the car looks good in matt black a i wish i had gone for it,but the paint which i had imported will be a waste in that case.

Sanjeev,

What's sitting under the hood? Would you be sticking with the 2.0L Isuze Engine?

The BMW Alloys looks good but would'nt it be a misfit for the whole theme?

I am picturising this as a Bright Red Muscle Car from 60-70's era with a lot of chrome on Bumpers,Tail Lamps, Headlamps and Logos where a silver painted alloys wheels looks kinda out of place.

Great going with the progress and dedication. I pass through Trichur when I drive from Bangalore to my native place. Hope to see this beauty around someday!

Cheers!

Asif
