thanks shiv. those meters were acutally an altered stock meter installed inside a round stainless steel enclosure and powder coated. the edges were left as it is to show the chrome trims. Also, blue led ligths were fixed inside the speedo till 100 km/hr and red above the 100 km scale. the fuel gauges were also altered in a similar way.

hi,
The rims are original BMW rims purchased from Qatar. It cost me around 28 k for 4 rims. it was shipped to india by sea at an approx freight charges of Rs 50 per kg and a duty of rs 500 per each rim was paid at the indian customs. Recently due to some problems in Indian customs, they are not allowing to import any alloys for the time being. however, we may hope that the curb will be lifted soon!!
Thanks

The alloys look awesome. But somehow i feel the conti looks under tyred. A suitable up-size should have been considered before taking the plunge. BTW when is the work going to be completed ? Cant wait to see the finished product. Good Luck!

Ummm, sanjeev, are you sure they're original BMW alloys? They don't look like that to me. Also, if they're original won't they be having the BMW logo on them? And even in the gulf, you don't get "original" BMW alloys that cheap. Correct me if im wrong.

They are original indeed, but used. Also the logos are safe under the HM sticker which i had put over them. I dont want to show off the BMW logo and let's be desi-I mean Hindustani. You may see more logos of HM on the car body later.

On second thought -i feel that you have judged the size by my Photo .but, please watch the image closely and you may see that the whole thing is on a jack and the tyres are not on the ground. So 15" is good enough right???

Sanjeev, progress looks good. Congrats. Can you post some pics of what the car looks like now? Also, what tail lights do you intend to use? I somehow like the rear end.

hi,
I am facing a problem with fixing the stock dash into the vehicle. At present, the car is having a modified dash installed by the previous owner. There are no alterations done by them while fixing the existing (modified)dash.Still, we are not able to fix the stock dash and i would appreciate if anybody can help me with some stock dash photos and any installation pictures or guides if available
Thanks
