Which are the best Car Accessories Shops in Cochin or atleast in Kerala ?

PS : Even after more than 10 pages, there is still no mention about the shops@Cochin.

In Ghaziabad (NCR, UP). One at Empire Hyundai, around 4-5 on Ambedkar Road, Some at GT Road

It has been repeated several times here in this thread about various shops in Cochin. (Hey, Team-BHP search works great. Try it out once in a while)

If you want great workmanship and quality, then Emperor is the place to go. The range of accessories are very good. They stock all the great names like Sparco, Momo, Lenso, Alpine, Hertz, Audison, K&N, and even cheap good for nothing chinese stuff!! Prices are competitve too. I won't say it is the cheapest, but bargaining may do wonders.
Another famous one is General Motors @ Mamangalam. They have good prices and vast range of accessories. Not very good when it comes to workmanship. Still a good shop worth visiting.
Then there are other shops around too. Carport is a new shop with some good range of accessories. Nothing spectacular or special to speak about here.
AutoMate located in Byepass are the authorised dealers for JBL etc... A good shop.
Overdrive is a good shop too. It is located next to Skoda showroom.
Autoplus located near Desabhimani Jn. has a very good mechanic but the shop is not good in stock etc..
There are innumerous shops lined up between Mamangalam and Palarivattom. So is Byepass.
For tyres, the only good place for good workmanship, prices and stock is Global Tyres located at Mamangalam.
Stay away from NEW BHARAT TYRE AND THEIR PTSTOP!!! They are not the good people to be relied upon. And this is after repeated bad experiences me and many friends have attained.

A few car accessories shops in town here - used by people in and around Siliguri (including Darjeeling/Kalimpong/Kurseong/Sikkim/Bhutan/Nepal, etc.)

WheelCraft - Upscale and located in a prime location, prices a little on the higher side, but good service. They won't give you the exact information though. I wanted a leather Stanley Steering wheel cover (Black-Red/Maroon) and they said it can't be got separately, you have to order seat covers as well - I know of Team BHPians who have gotten only the steering wheel covers from Stanley (BTW I am still without a Stanley Steering wheel cover)

Wheel O'City - Nice friendly shop where you are offered a cup of really strong tea every half an hour

. Variety of goods, more affordable, but you won't find the higher-end stuff, like really good amps, good JBL Woofers and stuff.

Car Decora - Hugely busy place. Owner is usually confused, but you can get almost everything done here, prices change by the minute.

They have a pollution check (for your exhaust) as well.

Balaji Motors - New fancy setup on the outskirts. They have almost everything, huge place, they even have paint shop, car wash, and say they do "mods" as well. Expensive, you tend to overspend when you go there.

Anand Mangal Tyres - Everyone goes here for alloys, but they have Neo and Aura and insist you take them. For the Taiwanese stuff, prefer WheelCraft/Balaji/Wheel O'City.

Rhyme and Rhythm in Colaba, south mumbai. Pretty good selection/install of ICE. Carries accessories like seat covers, sports pedal, steering wheels etc...
Good service.

Elegant Kar Accessories at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi is good for ICE (they sell genuine stuff with bills & warranties (Proprietor Sachin & Kapil Malhotra,Ravi the ICE incharge) & for autocop car safety products, sunfilms & seat covers. They are autho.dealer for JBL,Sony,Alpine etc.They have listening enclosure (JBL/Sony) were you can listen the ICE components & decide for yourself.A imp. factor before you put in your hard earned moolah on the counter..They have good installers too.

This is in response to speedzak's post.

Last week, I scrounged through whole of the Cochin for the best Car Accessories Shops.

Here are some of the shops that I've visited...

Emperor - Nice collection of ICE/Mod stuffs. The prices of goodies that are displayed are on the steeper side. I didn't inquire more about the cheap/Chinese stuffs. But the staff & owner are quite un-approachable. They simply don't like to hear questions !!!

The Car Shoppe - Nice shop with affordable prices and with a great emphasis on car lifestyle products. Poor collection of ICE and they will try to push substandard ICE products !!!

Auto Mate - Exhaustive list of all kinds of accessories. But the prices are a little bit usurious. Other than this, nothing problematic.

Car Style - The affordable shop for all those who are on a shoestring budget.

Car Fantasy - The car seating experts. The price range is also quite acceptable.

New Bharat Tyre Pitstop - Morons, Morons, Morons & Morons !!! But quite a nice collection of tyres & alloys.

@Mithun. You can also add the term LIARS to the description of New Bharat Tyres.

You made a big mistake of not mentioning Team-BHP & speedZakko at Emperor. Next time, try that and see what attention you may get.

As a foot note, Emperor is also very famous for their great inapproachable attitude. I had repeatedly posted about it here. Also, the owner of that place is a Team-Bhpian!! But he rarely comes here. I am just suprised why they haven't changed yet.

General Motors @ Mamangalam is a worthy visit. They have good range of accessories and a great attitude. But workmanship and quality is a bit on the lower side.

Remember! Sun doesn't rise and set in these shops alone. There can be more better ones around. Searching is the key.

I own an Indica. I don't wanna spend too much on seat covers so would like the shops which provide ready made one's.
