At this mileage, one believes that some of them get some sort of decomposition , as a result narrowing down of these inlets thus , inadvertingly blocking coolant passage and there-fore heating. Check for this blockage on head gasket , too.
Those are called Water Jackets!

Pawan, at first I too thought it would cost that much for my car,but then again things don't always work out as you expect and you end up paying a lot more.

Cost

Ok here goes,

The Turbo Kit including FPR, turbo , manifold , piping , intercooler , BOV , Boost controller and a couple of hoses including shipping from Surat to Bangalore was 43k.

The Subaru Injectors were bought from HERE at 104$ including shipping
Lets take it as 4.5k

Exedy Clutch - 8K retail

Racedynamics ecu - 32.5k with install etc. I got a good deal from a friend so I ended up paying 18k for a brand new unused ECU.

Then there was the amount SAG charged me for the install. Ive been them for the last 5 years so you can be sure i got a good deal on this. Lower IC pipe had to be remade as the one that came with the kit was smashed.

Thats it ..

So there you go 65k + the labour I was charged by SAG for the install.

Cheers. At the end of the day I got a sexy deal so

In addition to this there are other things on the car which add up too, you can see those prices over here ..

My last post for the night and this has some bad news.

The turbo isn't in very good shape. The seals are leaking a bit of oil and I have a little white smoke in my exhaust. This happened from the moment we first started the car.

The good news is that since its a Toyota CT-12(off the Toyota Supra ), good quality rebuild Kits aren't hard to find. Will be ordering it in a few days though it might take some time to come.

This was something I anticipated while buying the Turbo without physically inspecting it .

This isn't the Dark-side

Oooh, I forgot to mention, once rebuilt, plan on plonking in the Scooby injectors and upping the boost!

Pranav just so that people don't get the wrong impression, Im going to post this in bold.No offence ..

My car is running perfectly, with absolutely no issues on the engine,no knock. Just leaky oil seals on the turbo which needs to be replaced, still boosting 6psi,still holding 6 psi till the redline

Would you need to source parts for a rebuild again or will SAG take care of it?
