Boy.. this is really neat, try to get the mesh work on the grill. When my OHC VTEC was getting the skirting done they showed me how the Matte finishing looks on the car, it’s really killer man.

A great looking car

Hi Dharmana,

1. You have done wonders to an already great car. it now looks like some really ferocious leopard ready to rule the jungle (read "roads"). One point though, as advised, please do get the colour updated in the RTO records to avoid problems in case of a mis-hap.

2. Also, do put some reflective strips / round shaped ones in order to increase the visibility of your car in the night, at the rear as well as front.

Great job done once again!!!

Your matte paint job has given me the strength to consider the same for my turbo charged swifty. I have been getting bored with the existing two tone job, and the car needs a repaint in lot of areas. Could you guide me on the brand of paint, and also the process involved, any ratio details when mixing, and also have you finally got a clear coat done. How is the job looking now apart from the tough cleaning tasks.
Bangalore Bhpian's do indicate present costs that I should look at for this job for a swift.

Re: My matte black SX4!

Look for the paint in the Dupont Registry. I believe for Indian cars, Mahindra has this shade in their shade card list. I know as I have seen the Dupont registry from all over the world when we were deciding on a matte black shade for a friend's M3.
