You can ask at Reliance Time Out (first floor) on cunningham road

The cost excluding is showing as Rs 5093, Including shipping price might go up to 9k or 10k, considering the weight(11 kg). Might not be wise move to purchase from here.

Don't you guys have exide roadside assistance in your cities? It's a FREE service, yet one that's super efficient. I have used them once. The exide van arrived in 30 minutes, jump started my Jeep for free and offered very courteous service. Its noteworthy to mention that exide's free service extends to ANY battery brand.

Thanks GTO, i was not aware of this. Is it possible to park such information including the telephone numbers for as many citieis so that the members and non member can refer to it when needed ?

This service should be great help for many people in cities. If you call up service centers for the same they will charge us for the jump starting. I was charged Rs 200 for jump starting my Zen from my regular SVC(UM cars) and he took 2 hours to come down.

Although this is a good noble cause from Exide, but it also helps Exide to market its product. Since most people getting this service will be impressed and go for new Exide battery if the battery is dead.

The cost came to 13 K including shipping so passed.

Congratz on your purchase netarchie. Was this the only model which was available in Reliance Autozone? were there more models? Schumacher seems to be good company which are sold in US also.

This was the only model available !

My carpc often drains the battery when I work on it without the engine running or if I dont drive the car for say more than 4 - 5 days, so this can be helpful at times. I hope this does the job.

Finally i purchased "Stanley 500 amp battery jump-starter with compressor" from Ebay India GlobeShopee. Got it in very good deal, it cost me Rs 6,600, including shipping to India and it package weighs 18lbs. Good that i got it then, now the same listing is showing Rs 9,686. Had checked 20 North also it was quoting around 10k.

Once i receive it i will post pics and review on this. The courier has reached bangalore should be receiving it today or tomorrow.
