which generation esteem u got??????? if it is type 1,then its of no use 2 get a sporty colour,it`ll look bad.

if its a type 2,then try out the toyota supra`a orange colour which was in the fast n the furious,

n if its a type 3,go either for a white colour with big yellow, silver and black decals like the one on "VENOM" the white lancer done by autopsyche or orange again with chrome rims n tinted glasses

cheerz!!!!!

If your initial thoughts were black i would suggest you add on side skirts and front and rear skirts as well to give it that low look.

Even i have a black esteem i repainted it when i bought it second hand and diverted from the original mica black to the nero black which comes on the accent, although the nero black is non metallic i had about 10% red pearlascent added to the paint which give it that slight different feeling.

I would suggest you could also go in for the black magic that comes on the skoda L&K or the diamond black from the Optra both are pretty good with that metallic lusture.

Make sure u have skirtings if u go black, and team it up with chrome or hyper black alloy rims, do not put metal/silver finish rims then.

black looks good, but everything comes at a cost ... its high maintenance
blue requires high maintenance too, but i don't think it would be like black.
eventually, it's upto you which colour you want

black is out now its a very common colur it will look good only if modified with skirts n bumpers & a rich paint job you can go in for the blue thats on the baleno.... and if your esteem is type 1 would suggest you to go in for crystal lights in front only... bak lights look good enough if buget permits change back lights also...
thanks
keep us updated with what u do....

i think black wont look good on it ..it never suits the esteem it looks better on cars which have curves and nice lines ( know what i mean?) ..
i think you should stick to something brighter ..
like satan_C said -its really hard to maintain,
if you love your car you will hate those small scratches (you'll get one tiny one everyday) which are so easily visible in black..

do check out modded esteems (swift) @ www.cardomain.com ..you might find a custom shade

Black - extremely high maintainance costs.. got myself a NHC Black 2 months back, and already getting to realise how hard it is to maintain it.. even slightest scratches show up..but overall,it's a killer colour man..
cheers,
sr
