Yeah Pramod, i have planned to go for MPFI setup, i got budget constraints man, cant fetch more than 30K at present less the price i get for the old engine!

Hey Pramod, seems like the Admin or the moderators of tbhp didnt like me posting the ad for the engine, it has been removed for unknown reason, without notifying me!
Neways who cares, if they dont have a valid justification to remove it, i would sincerely request them to have it posted back!
If they have a justification then too who cares

1. 98 model LX
2. Single owner
3. Two tone colour
4. Minimum scratches
5. 18K run
6. Thane registered, Stay in mumbai

Also Please let me know what did it cost you to convert to type 2 interiors
Power windows, FFE.

With the model, i would say 80-90K is more than enuf considering just 18K kms run. 98 LX Esteem retails for not more than 60K, so 90 is enough for 18K kms done till date,but make sure the odo is not tampered.

Type 2/3 Interiors will be expensive, you may land up spending 15K+ on that. FFE we can get within 10K from BAR

Did you get the Type 2/3 interiors new or 2nd hand. Where did you buy from. Would you recommend BAR or are there any other options.

I think they put used interiors with brand new power windows set, new ones are too very expensive and the rates are like; Dash: 7K+ , Door panels: 2.2K each , Speedo Cluster: Dont Know ; Power Windows: 7K OEM.

I don't recommend the Power steering thing conversion, it wont be perfect.
You will not feel the need for Power Steering believe me!

Mine was a package kinda deal, totaled upto 30-35K including complete tin work, painting , interiors and the hood work. My car should be delivered this week and will finalize the balance payment.

Are you sure it is 18K ? Sounds more like 118k. Please check thoroughly before buying it. 65k seems a good price if it is in top condition.
