Body & paint shop - Coimbatore/Cochin

A friend of mine managed to screw up his lancers rear-side (read boot!)... Took the car to the local mitsubishi showroom for an estimate, quoted 15K including replacement of spoiler, boot and paint. Are there any good dent/paint shops in Coimbatore or cochin who can handle a boot denting painting at reasonable cost, he does not want to invest in replacing a boot at this age of the car?

Any credible information would be helpful.

Also try MyTVS in Coimbatore, they do a decent job and probably at decent rates.

Help needed

hi,
my black swift vdi got a dent on the left doors (both doors). Got it done at maruti authorised service, coimbatore. I am not satisfied with the quality of work. The paint is quite shiny, but the surface is not even.can make out fine irregularities. is it due to poor quality of work or are all dent works like this?

Painting a black car is no easy job, The person painting denting it has to be a real "tiger", this is what people call great painters here . What you are looking at now are called "shakes", this is not always a dentors problem but the painters job to take care of. Go back to them and tell them to re do it. Tell tham the main reason you got it done there is beacuse of quality of work, tell them if they cannot do it ask them for a refund.

They prepare the suface for painting and then apply degreaser, to check for mild shakes, and then apply spot putty to fill those surfaces. The paint is applied finally.
