Autopsyche's Lancer In Cochin!!!!

Hey,

Last day went and had a look at the recently arrived lancer here at Cochin which was modded by Autopsyche.Initial talks are going on and if deal is OK,i might get it.

Model : 2005

Mileage : 10k

Modifications :

1)Completely chopped up body(not the chassis)
2)Modded Bumpers with wide body kit.
3)Modded exhaust and intake(k&n)
4)Pioneer Head Unit with velocity subs.
5)Recaro seats(they say its original,don't know yet)
6)RPM,pressure and oil gauges.

The only fault i noticed is that the large spacers fitted for the tires to reach up to the wide body fenders which might prevent it from high speed.
I want an opinion. The asking price is 5.20.

Is it worth the money????

Below attached are the pics i had taken:

Are the spacers only at the rear or also in the front? If it is also in the front it will screw up the offset at the steering wheel big time, resulting in an offset swivel axis steering, this may also prove disastrous if the car has a diagonal split braking system, hope it clarifies.

It should have been left as a sedan, and I absolutely hate replica kits (M5 in this case). But quality and craftsmanship looks top-class. Btw this is a MIVEC,should be proper fast..!

IMHO, for Rs 5.20lacs, you can buy a normal lancer and mod it according to your taste.
Even otherwise, the price is on the higher side.

IMO the title is mis leading, it gives an impression that Autopsyche has started a branch in Cochin.

+1 to that. I was wondering why Cochin, and why not B'lore / Hyd / Madras - and if Autopsyche is competing head-on with Pete's

Mods, please update the title as appropriate!

Liked the lancer. But autopsyche ain't coming to kochi. I'm pretty sure of that. The owner of this lancer was in delhi for some time. Modded it there. Now must be back here. Thats all.

Nope.Spacers r there both for the front and rear. And the spacers are really large.I too thought the same.

But for normal Delhi registered lancer cost 2.5 here(petrol).I am sure that mode jobs should have taken another 2.5 or 3.After all its Autopsyche right?.The tires itself cost a bomb.

Nope. The owner already sold the vehicle. It has been bought by a vehicle broker. He also told that he will get the NOC and a new fancy number too.

I heard that this car has reached cochin. Its not a MIVEC, but a 1.8 INVEX i believe.
Also, does it still have those Altezza style taillamps? One alloy wheel is black while the rest are chrome??

Also, heard some issue about the spacers, even i think they can affect the car negatively at higher speeds.

5.20 seems to be a lil too much for this car, but buying a stock lancer and modding it will be time consuming and expensive. Your call!

5.20 is a lot of money. Get a lancer and mod it to your taste if you have the Time and Patience.

Nope all alloys are black and spare tire alloy is chrome. Some of the photos were taken before the alloy was painted black.Had to put the spare tire for some reason.

Yep its 1.8 INVEX.

Yes its having those Altezza lamps, only thing being its smoked out.

Spacers is an issue.I don't know what to do about it.The spacer size is the largest size i have ever seen. Its so huge.

Considering the mileage is 5.20 still large?

IMO, 4.7L would be a good price if it includes all the transfer costs and fancy number. After all, its only a 5 yr old INVEX with just 10k on the clock. Plus all those mods would definately cost a lot.
Just make sure the condition is good and the clock isnt doctored. Im sure that suspension wont last too long with that offset. Think about that as well!
Cheers!
