K&N stock one would cost around 3.5k -4.5k or so. Hyundai dealers sell these.

Thanks.

Now another question, Would they be the best people to goto to buy & install ? Can some Bangalore members suggest who are good tuners/installers ?

PM Psycho for the details on the freeflow exhausts and the filters.. But dude i seriously think you should not go for stock replacement. Get the universal conical airfilters for the car..

take care.

Thanks for the input godfather!

After reading some of the other threads, it seems Psycho and Dom are the guys to get in touch with in namma bengaluroo

Will definately look into your recommendation regarding the Universal Conical Airfilter as an alternative.

Emotions of a santro owner

Hahaha!!!
I shud have known that somebody will drag my name into this....
Now that the car is sold, I care nothing...
I have already explained to few members in the private messaging what setup i was running and how i got this done.

I have no intension of running turbo on palio, becoz palio is my moms car... And running that turbo on 1.2 isnt good, i wud have thought about it if it was a 1.6. And I dont even know if that turbo will suit the car... I gotta work on the compressor map and get the details of palio... No more wasting time, effort and money.

And people who think i run turbo in my trunk can jump off the cliff...

I know the guys who i have smoked and I remember the guys who have smoked me...
Santro was an amazing car... Lot of understeer and initial pickup....
I have done a top speed of 170 on Coaimbatore palakad bypass...
Always wanted to work on ECU and get the final result but that neva happened.

But I would recommend improving the handling characteristics even before thinking of working on the power part.
