MR2 Spider turbo ..new Modd

hey guys ..
i posted a pic of this car almost a year back ..
just spotted it with another body modd..seems to me this guy got a turbo
upgrade.. check it out ..

i know someones going to find it interesting !

The MR2 came from the factory with a turbocharged engine on some models. However that looks like a CAI he's got there.

Sweet car, and I like what's behind it as well!

yeah it is a turbo mr2 ...
what i meant was that he most probably upgraded his turbo ..with an induction kit for which that scoop is made ...

If the MR2 is intercooled, which I'm not sure about, then the CAI is pretty much of a waste. The air will be heated in the turbo, and again cooled in the intercooler. So any advantage of 1 degree or so will be lost.

It can't be a ram-air intake system either, because there's a turbo between the intake and the valves.

I'm guessing it's a duct that guides cold air onto the intercooler...please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
