Any idea where i can get the swift sports rear bumper in Benguluru and the front lip for the sports front bumper. Kitup has the kit in combi, but really cannot do a trip that far.How much will this cost?
Saw a few but it was really odd. The one in this pic seems very close to the original. If anyone done it

Tacho options for the Swift?

Guys I bought my Arctic Pearl White LDi in Nov '08. There was a 3-month wait period at the time for all the diesel variants, but through a contact I managed to get a white LDi with immediate delivery. Since I've bought it, I've spruced it up a little with some nice 15" rims, Yoko 195/60 R15s, and a halfway competent system. Oh, and I also had MUL retrofit the original power windows from the VDi in the car before delivery.

But the one thing that's always bothered me is the lack of a tacho.

I prefer the understated look... nothing bling or flashy for me, so I don't want some gigantic tacho that's the size of a dinner plate and looks like it was stolen from the starship Enterprise sitting on my dash.

So... options?

One option I'm considering is the tacho that MUL offers in the ritz and the A-star? It's an on-dash model but looks sedate and understated. Is this possible? Cost?

Another option is something I saw in an Esteem. It was a tubular tacho, roughly 1.5" in diameter and it was fiitted in front of the instrument cluster (in front of the glass in the bottom left corner).

Can anyone help me with tacho options for the LDi?

Good work on the drive. Great alloys and the bumper looks good. How much did the rear bumper with exhaust work cost you mate.

I wanted to do something radically different on the tail lamp.I was contemplating making them all LED's. hence this rendering.

I have a red swift with a black top and a moonroof. The moonroof works well, but trigger happy valets have caused it to stick a few times. Vitesse did it for me, when I ordered the car. The only complaint I have is that the rubber trimming around the moonroof is very shoddy and constantly gives way.

The only other big problem is thaton some days when the cleaner empties a bucket of water over the swift - I am sloshed with water on my way to work! Without warning water gushes out from the moonroof! I have arrived in office completely drenched in the height of summer! Haven't figured out - supposed to be watertight isn't it?

Nice GTI kit. Are both the exhaust outlets functional?

Nice. Me likey, especially the rims and the rear GTI-esque bumper with the dual outlets
But... not a fan of the tail lights, or the chequered flag vinyl on the side.

Major fan of the rims though... what brand of rims, what size, and what tyres on this baby?
