@Sandy, the correct upsize for a swift for 17" wheels is tyres with 205/40 or 45/R17 profile, a 50 profile is definately going to scrap the wheel arches.

Its not advicable Sandy.
LBM's ride is very harsh.
I experience Backaches quite often.
Though he drives with a very light foot but still it does matter considering the roads in India.

I like the fourth, sixth and eight one from the top... but they're all running profiles that are way too low for the ride quality AND the prolonged health of the suspension. They look like 17" rims, maybe more.

Some of the others are pretty hideous, though. Especially the first (green and black).

since i have gotten my swift i have been playing with the idea of some visual modifications. since i was studying till now, vitamin m was the major deficiency.
i dug up some old pics of my car, with some very rough doodling done on the primitive MS-Paint. this is primarily low-cost and also to solve the problem of the under door sill/running board turning yellowish post monsoon.

i thought of painting the running board black but needed to get the black element to continue into the front bumper so i would not look completely out of place.

the front bumpers are painted oddly just to make it look like the swift sport from front. attaching some pics i order to help you understand what im on about.

please gimme your impressions.

Swift Modders in Pune?

Hi Folks,

Could you please suggest any places in/around Pune who can do some of the Stage 1 modification jobs as described by GTO in this thread - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/modify...-your-car.html ?

Perhaprs you could point me to threads/posts which already have this info. I tried searching but couldn't find one.

I have a 2006 Swift Vxi with about 54k km done.

Thanks a lot for the help..

Well car is definitely looking a cut above with Angel Eyes & Swift Sportz front bumper. I am not quite in favour of putting that many lights on top of the car unless the snap was taken just before going for a motorsport rally, as it pays to have proper illumination during such rally's.
