Hello fellow BHPians.

This is my Swift 1.3 vxi. Bought her on 14th april 2008 and constantly fiddling with it since then.

Currently I am upgrading the front and rear bumpers to the newer Swift's. Hope to get her back by next week. Will upload some newer pics then.

Thank you.

@sagar iswalkar: Lovely ride there mate! Looks hot. What size are the wheels, they somehow look small to me. Maybe seeing huge 16, 17 inchers on Swifts has taken its toll on me.

Cheers!

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Thank you Cartman.
The wheels are the stock 165/80 r14s. Had no budget a year ago to upgrade to 15s or 16s. Plus I do a lot of highway runs around and my dad even finds those 80 profiles harsh so had to chuck it. Anyways going for 185/70 r14 by next week.

Nice work there Sagar however i dint like the tail light treatment. How about going for LED tails? Will make your ride hot. BTW, can you post a better pic of your front grill?

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Thanks Naveen Raju.
Instead of LED tail lights am actually trying to source Swift Sports tail lights. Am personally a fan of'em. Even searched at some local shops at HONG KONG but they dont seem to sell it.

Have this clear pic of front grill but this is very old.

Btw now am changing the front and rear bumpers to the newer look ones. Just like the ones on your Swift, and this time I plan to stick to stock grill for some months.

Nice. Why dont you go for the full LED lights? Am trying to source this from Singapore but the person I got in touch with doesnt have stock. Have to wait for few weeks for the update.

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Thanks (asuming it was for me). Engine has a BMC conical filter, a custom cold air intake pipe, NGK Iridium IX plugs and a Free flow exhaust end can.

Performance-wise there isn't too much to differentiate, feels eager to touch the red line and yes definately feels a lot more torque-ier at mid range than before. Also the sound is very throaty and only becomes loud after 2500 rpm (just what i prefered, so there is no trouble while passing police barricades).

Sorry for the exhaust picture, its actually in chrome but is looking brown because of all mud. Will post some better pics when my car is back from painting. Thanks

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Sagar, how much did that end can cost? And where did you get it from in Mumbai? I am looking for one for my little Estilo. Also, does it sound like stock upto 2.5k rpm or there is a clear difference?

Cheers!

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Hey CARTMAN

Exhaust end can costed me 8500/- from Motorsounds (Blazed customz), Santacruz. Had to order two days in advance.
Sound is very low and deep below 2500rpm and becomes loud only after that but still stays smooth and throaty and not high pitched or something like a rotten or torn exhaust (just what i wanted).

BTW do you plan to add just an exhaust or filter too? or do you have one already?

Thanks for the pricing mate. Just an exhaust should suffice. The end can I need primarily is for the looks, the current one looks like a tap pipe. Secondly, I need the sound. No ear shattering sounds, a throaty rumble and growl is cool. No filters, my car is bone stock.

Cheers!
