It is fastened using 4 bolts. I drive through bad stretches of roads and touch wood, no rattles so far. Geeash got another model meant for Swift. Will ask him to post the photos on his ownership thread.

Swift Alloys + Tires in Bangalore

Ok I went to this store at the Forum Mall where I found some pretty rad wheels in the range of 20k for 4 alloys (15")
They looked really high quality and I plan to visit their bigger store in Kormangala soon. Is this a good deal, or am i being duped ?

Tires would set me back by another 15-20 i guess for 5.

So, my question is, how do I get rid of the current tires + alloys that I have?

Are there any stores in Bangalore where I might be able to sell them off?
Coz if there isnt any, I'd make sure my folks sell the tires and alloys and get the new tires with rims fitted in Chandigarh before my car is brought to Bangalore....

Put it on Tbhp classified. I am sure there are many people who will be willing to buy sparingly used tyres/alloys for a good rate.

That's pretty good. Kindly check the brand. I got mine for 17k (Stamford - which is not at all famous in India) and Yokohama S Drives for 18k (4 nos).

As Mutant said, try publishing it on classified section. Many shops will take used rubbers and alloys although they will offer a very low price. I sold my tires for 1.5k (Which clocked only 2k kms. It was a bad deal but decided to sell it off).

Kindly check the brand and let me know the details.

Brand of the tyres & alloys?
How much has it run?

This will decide on how much you can expect. Quote the above, will try to give a realistic price

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Installed cold air intake filter and headers on my swift zxi.

The specifications are:

BMC Cold Intake Air Filter (DIA)
4x2x1 Headers
Stainless Steel Free Flow Exhaust Muffler
10W40 Synthetic Oil
Already running Iridium Spark Plugs since last year

Total project conceived and executed by EngineCAL - Mr. Anubhav. In my view, a thorough and neat installation. The work was done at Bangalore. After the modifications, drove back from Bangalore to Chennai. The experience was awesome. The car felt very light and comfortable and has a decent growl. Mr. Anubhav can be reached on 9 8 4 5 5 8 5 2 7 8

Do try and post a video if possible. Is your Swift a 1.2L K-series or the 1.3L one?

Has anybody heard of Kiirus?? Apparently they remap NA petrol engines and have something for the Swift as well so am assuming that it is compatible with the Ritz too.
Kiirus - NEWS
http://www.kiirus.in/index.php

They seem to be doing a great job going by the testimonials. But is it worth 32k is the question for a 8-10bhp increase when you can gain around 5-6bhp with basic stage 1 mods as Der Junge at half the cost??
Any reviews??

My swift is the 1.3L engine. I ought to have mentioned it earlier. Sorry.

I do not have any experience with Kiirus.

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

So a couple of weeks back i finally bit the long overdue bug and ordered Magnaflow's premuffler and stainless steel mid section pipes from N1. This replaced my Automech pipes and expansion chamber which was way too noisy through the Remus endcan.

Got it yesterday and had it fitted at the local MASS. 1Hr work. Rs.250 paid. And a huuuge grin on my face as i cut loose on the Kovalam-Chakai by-pass.

Rs.11,250 including transportation. Nicely packed and not a scratch anywhere.

I'm just sad i had to pay Rs.2000 odd more due to dollar rates :( But that's all under the carpet now as i'm too busy enjoying my ride...again \m/

Re: Swift Mods : Post all queries / pics of Swift Modifications here.

Hi guys, though I'm new to this forum just thought of sharing some pictures of my 5 year old Swift, completely stock only with a few cosmetic changes - graphics and front mesh grilles and 185/60 Maxxis tyres.

All cosmetic changes were done at home itself within the first week of buying the Swift and it has remained the same ever since.

Its been a wonderful bond sharing 70,000 odd kilometres and both the bond and the Swift are still going strong!!!

This is nicely done and maintained! In the first picture, the shadows of the wires actually gives it a nice effect. But overall it looks amazing!
