Tavera Mods

Hi BHPians,

I own Tavera B3 and I am looking for some modifications for my car.

I want to make the following modifications:

1. Change the front seat to Dual seat
2. Change the back seat to a single front facing seat
3. Get the Leatherite seat cover
4. Get the front dash board covered....I hate the grey color on the dash board.
5. Add Fog lamps.

Now...I am located in Gurgaon, Please tell me the rough amount that it gonna cost and the best place to get it done.

6. Also I want to know abt window films that are Govt-approved in Delhi.

Waiting for your reply friends,

Avinash

Its very easy. Get a seat that perfectly matches those of the Tavera if u dont wanna buy a new one. We had ours replaced by an old Honda Accord seat and its very difficult to distinguish between the original single seat and the Accord ones.

2. Change the back seat to a single front facing seat
Replace them only if you really find them uncmfortable. Go for the Original Taver seats from the dealer.

You get wood-look dash inserts for the Tavera but they would look very cheap. If you dont like grey , get it painted beige.

5. Add Fog lamps.
Available right from 800 bucks to 300 bucks. Get them fitted from outside and not from the dealer.

Hi Avin, I think you should not go for the wood work as v12 said because it looks cheaps and if not fitted properly comes out and looks very bad. For films I think you can get a nice one from a car accessories shop but be careful to take a one with waranty.
Dont go for cheap films ,though they look great for sometime they are never longlasting. If you can spend money on films then go for V-kool,Its nice I have it in my grandfathers corolla here in mumbai Its great they have all shades with warranty.

Avin I think if your bugdet is limited go for artificial leather than original. It will costs less than original leather and look same. Also can you tell me what colour is your tavera.
